What I fix and tune

001 //

PC & Laptop Repair

Won't turn on, overheating, loud fans, blue screen, won't see the drive or RAM — I take it apart, diagnose, and fix it. Component swaps, charging port soldering, screen replacements.

→ free diagnostics
002 //

OS & Software Install

Clean install of Windows 10/11, all drivers, Office, antivirus, browsers, and any software you need. Setup tailored to you, with bloatware removed.

→ from 1 hour
003 //

Data Transfer & Backup

Got a new computer? I'll move all your files, photos, emails, bookmarks, and passwords from the old one, then set up automatic backups so nothing ever goes missing again.

→ nothing gets lost
004 //

Cleaning & Tune-Up

Thermal paste replacement, dust cleanout, and upgrades — adding an SSD, more RAM, swapping a fan. Old laptops that ran hot and slow really come back to life.

→ runs cooler & faster
005 //

Virus & Malware Removal

Cleanup of crypto miners, trojans, adware, and browser hijackers. I get rid of the popups, restore your settings, and set up real protection so it doesn't come back.

→ deep clean
006 //

Wi-Fi & Network Setup

Router and Wi-Fi setup, guest networks, secure passwords. Boost weak signal, run wired drops, set up printers and shared folders for home or small office.

→ home / small office

I just work on computers. Well.

Hi. I'm an independent technician doing computer and laptop repair in the Cleveland area. I can come to you, or you can drop your machine off and pick it up fixed.

Not a chain repair shop with markup and middlemen. I do the diagnosis, the explaining, and the fixing myself. If a repair isn't worth doing, I'll tell you straight — I don't pad jobs.

I work on everything from older Windows machines to modern laptops with USB-C and soldered RAM. The goal is simple: it runs the way you need it to, and you understand what was done.

Common questions

How much will my repair cost?
Most common jobs are flat-rate between $80 and $130. Diagnostics are always free, so I find out what's actually wrong before quoting you a price. You can see the full pricing page for details.
Do I have to pay if you can't fix it?
No. Diagnostics are free, and you only pay when the job is done and your computer is working. If a repair isn't worth doing — for example, if the machine is too old — I'll tell you straight up so you don't waste money.
Can you come to me, or do I drop off?
Both work. On-site visits cover the greater Cleveland area — Lyndhurst, Mayfield, Beachwood, South Euclid, Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights, and surrounding suburbs. For harder jobs that need my bench (board work, full disassembly), drop-off is usually faster.
Will I lose my data?
No. Before any repair, I back up your data to my external drive as a precaution. If anything happens during the work, your files are safe. If the drive itself is the problem, I'll tell you upfront before doing anything risky.
How fast can you fix it?
Most jobs are done same day or within 24 hours. Simple things like virus removal or Windows reinstall often take 1–2 hours. Hardware repairs that need a part may take a couple of days while waiting on shipping. I'll always give you a realistic timeline up front.
What if the same problem comes back?
Every job comes with a 30-day labor warranty. If the same issue comes back within 30 days, I fix it again at no charge for the work. Parts carry their own manufacturer warranty (usually 1–3 years).
How do I pay?
Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or card — whatever's easiest for you. Payment is after the job is done. The only exception is if a repair needs an expensive part (like a screen) — I'd ask for the part cost upfront, then labor after. Sales tax applies to parts only.
Is my old computer worth fixing?
Often yes — especially with an SSD upgrade, which makes a 6-year-old laptop feel like a new machine. But I'll tell you honestly if it's not worth it. Sometimes a new machine is the right call, and I'd rather you spend money smartly than pad my bill.
