Most jobs are flat-rate so you know what you'll pay before I start. Diagnostics are always free, and you only pay when the work is done and your computer is back to normal.

Prices below are for labor only — parts (if needed) are separate, at cost plus a small markup, or you can buy them yourself.
Windows install & setup
Clean install of Windows 10 or 11, drivers, Office, browsers, antivirus, your essentials. Activation included.
Data transfer & backup setup
Move files, photos, emails, bookmarks, and passwords from your old machine to a new one. Set up automatic backup.
Virus & malware removal
Full cleanup of crypto miners, trojans, adware, and browser hijackers. Real protection set up so it doesn't come back.
Cleaning & thermal paste — laptop
Full disassembly, dust cleanout, fresh thermal paste & pads. Old laptops actually run cool and quiet again.
Cleaning & thermal paste — desktop
Dust cleanout, cable tidy, fresh paste on CPU. Lower temps and quieter fans, often noticeably faster boot.
SSD upgrade with system migration
Clone your existing Windows install to a new SSD — no reinstall, no data loss. Big speed boost on older machines.
RAM install / upgrade
Pick the right memory for your machine, install it, verify it runs at full speed.
Laptop screen replacement
Cracked or dead screen swap. Part cost depends on model — quoted up front.
Laptop battery replacement
New battery, calibrated, tested. Get back full unplugged time.
Full tune-up — "it's just slow"
Software cleanup, startup optimization, disk & memory check, browser cleanup, junk removal.
Wi-Fi & network setup
Router setup, guest network, secure passwords, signal boost, printers and shared folders. Home or small office.
Data recovery (logical)
Recovering files from a drive that's still alive but not mounting properly. Physical drive failures quoted separately.
For everything else
Got something unusual or hard to diagnose? Hourly rate kicks in. Time is tracked honestly — if I get stuck, I tell you before the meter runs.
The fine print, plain
Pay after the job
No deposits, no upfront fees. You see the machine working, then you pay. Larger parts may need a deposit — I'll tell you up front if so.
30-day labor warranty
If the same issue comes back within 30 days, I fix it again at no extra charge for labor. Parts carry their own manufacturer warranty.
Parts: your choice
Either I source the part (cost plus a small markup, with my warranty) or you buy it yourself from my list. Whichever works for you.
Quote before work
I never start a paid repair without telling you the price first. If diagnostics reveal the job is bigger than expected, I stop and re-quote.
On-site or drop-off
Greater Cleveland area for on-site visits. Drop-off works for harder jobs (board work, full disassembly) where I need my bench.
Payment methods
Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or card. Sales tax applies to parts (Cuyahoga County rate). Receipt sent by email.
Ways to save
Senior discount
10% off labor for clients 65 and older. Just mention it when you call.
Referral credit
Refer a friend or neighbor — you get $20 off your next job, they get $20 off their first.
Bundle two jobs
Two services in one visit (e.g. tune-up + thermal paste) — 15% off the smaller one.
